"Really pleasant stay"

"Comfortable well situated hotel, suitable for short stays. Food quality was excellent, although somewhat pricey. Bed was comfortable and the shower very nice. Only complaint is that the hallways and rooms are decorated in dark colours and dimly lit."

"The location of the East-West Riverside is amazing. Very convenient to many of Basel's tourist areas and has beautiful views of the river. It's clean, and well-kept with modern furnishings and decor. There was a small Christmas market (just food and beverages) right outside the front door of the hotel that we really enjoyed (early December). Breakfast was good but minimal, like an American continental breakfast. Only 2 complaints: flat pillows and the room was always too hot. We kept a window...

"Very noisy due to club downstairs. Very rowdy patrons. No aircon too. Eventually also did not get the river facing room as requested. "

"Clean and lovely rooms although rooms are very small. We couldn’t lay on floor both suitcases. Hotel is down an alleyway which makes it very quiet in rooms but not ideal as far as an entranceway goes. Very convenient to a number of attractions and restaurants in Rome. Also a bus stops close that takes you straight to train station. "

"The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as convenient as possible. We had a bad travel day the day before and the friendliness and kindness of the staff was greatly appreciated."
