"Scandic Copenhagen is a good choice when staying in the city. It is close to the main shopping area and across from a wonderful lake where you can walk or run. Rooms are very large and well maintained. Breakfast was chaotic - very crowded and a bit too busy for me. Front desk was not as helpful as in other hotels - need to work on customer service"

"It wasn't bad but there was dirt/dustbunnies up around the headboard and under the nitestand... I only know this because I dropped my headset under thectable & had to move it. Also, the service in the restaurant right around the corner was terrible. I went alone my last nite there, hubs was too tired & not hungry. I was waited on promptly & received my food quickly. And that's where it all ended. The 2 servers and the manager walked by me numerous times and totally ignored me! They even ignored...

"I stayed here for 3 nights on a solo trip to Copenhagen. Here are my pros and cons. Pros: the location is fantastic. Lovely area and central enough to walk to all the main attractions. Staff are welcoming and friendly and greeted me every time I walked in. Room size is good, would be just as comfortable for 2 people. "I enjoyed my two stays at this pleasant, no-frills hotel. While there was no coffee maker, microwave, or washcloths, which I found a bit unusual, it served its purpose well for our layover. The breakfast was rather expensive and not particularly appealing, so I recommend prepaying to avoid the 100 DKK surcharge (approximately $25). The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, and the rooms were impeccably clean."

"Check in was easily done in advance, and access to the property was via a keypad. Unlocking the room door could be done through my phone, but could be slightly temperamental.
