"What a wonderful stay - the room was comfortable and chic with strong AC, a comfort bed, and a nice bathroom. The rooftop bar and pool were lovely with amazing views of the ocean. Benjamin and the other staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location was great - right in the heart of Stone Town. I highly recommend it! "

There are options for restaurants nearby (including The Rock restaurant, only a couple minutes walk down the beach) although not as many as some of the more developed areas. The hotel itself is lovely and clean. A nice breakfast is served right on your balcony which has amazing views of the water. No issues with the wi-fi. The staff were very welcoming. "I stayed here one night after landing in stone town. Perfect spot to nap on and off to get through the jet lag and be right in the heart of stone town. Extremely walkable to sites. The rooms are spacious, excellent shower and super comfy bed. Very clean and was just what I was looking for. Please note that it was a bit difficult to find. The taxi just dropped me off on the main road because cars can’t access the small streets. Once you know where it is, it’s super simple to return to"

The appliances in the kitchen are faulty and electrocutes when plugged in. Raised the issues but not addressed.
