"A beautiful hotel, with lovely friendly happy staff, who always gave a huge morning welcome at breakfast time. Delicious healthy breakfast and the best coffee, I've tasted in a long time, I had to go back for another. I felt very safe and it's in a great location to get to/from the ferry and to walk around to the shops and restaurants. "

"I loved the charm of the old building. Breakfast was included and was very good. The famous Lukmaan restaurant is right around the corner. There is a mosque across the alley, so you will hear the call to prayer unless you’re a heavy sleeper. There is also street noise but it usually gets quieter the later it gets. There is no parking. Make sure the taxi driver points out the building because it’s very nondescript. Overall a great place to stay. "

"AC did not work and they couldn’t fix it. The water pressure was also extremely low which made it hard to shower and even flush the toilet. There was an awesome guy working 24/7 who was trying to solve all problems. Thumbs up to him. "

"Three staff is very accommodating, and kind. There's a nice feeling they all know you and are trying to really help. We were there 4 days and it felt like we are a little community. The rooms are comfortable, clean, hot water and good internet connection. The breakfasts are very nice. I recommend to organize all your tours through the hotel, it's easy and very reasonable prices, and you know it's all taken care of. So a lot less stressful. "I was with both my daughters the area la Neisha is situated is very safe, we were out late night we felt secure and the streets lights were visible. Also the staffs are very friendly and helpful especial Ali, Suleiman and Aisha. We wanted a transport to go to port they arranged for us. "Well... we should i start.. first of all..i am quite relaxed about stays ,not to fuzzy at all. check inn is non existent ..carry your luggage up the stairs yourself.. the rooms are horrendous , the matras was torn on several places ,the room was absolutely not clean.. big bugs on the walls, The water was almost every day cut off ,let alone be warm water for showering ,the staff is 1! girl whos rather on her phone than working . i stayed 17 nights ( because paid upfront) there was one other...

"We had an amazing 2 weeks here everything was really perfect . The owner eas around sometimes and when he was he was really pleasant and you can tell he has pride in the place and wants his customers to have a wonderful experience. All the staff were very friendly,approachable and you can tell they love their jobs. I would definitely recommend this place 👌"

"Right on the beach in StoneTown .This hotel is unmatched for location as well as service. Friendly and caring staff who are happy to assist with all your needs. Rooms were clean and comfortable with air-conditioned, a mini fridge, and kettle with coffee and tea provided. Great pool areas which were well maintained. A charming place with lots of history. I would definitely stay again!"

"The hotel is well staffed and are always happy to help. The hotel and accommodation is very clean and is constantly kept clean. The pools are warm and relaxing. The Masai on the beach are warm and welcoming but can be a little full on at times, but hotel security are great at moving them along if you want to be left alone. The food and entertainment are fabulous and range if all inclusive drinks are great. Spoilt for choice with restaurants and food. I never go back to the same hotel, but this is one I would consider returning back to. "

"Amazing staff… very helpful and genuine… everyone was extraordinary and food was out of this world… not easy to cook such a variety of food in that quantity and on daily base… but the chef was very creative and everything tasted good… only staff at the reception was under par… everyone else did a terrific job "
