"Really good stay at the hotel. Really clean hotel with good bars and restaurants and facilities, but mainly due to the great staff that work at the hotel, from reception to, service staff and especially the bar and restaurant staff who were brilliant."

"We are repeat customers and we’ve always had a great experience here! Excellent customer service, beautiful facilities, and great food on-site with incredible scenery. Watching the sunrise through a sea view window is worth a visit by itself! The only critique I’d have is that the hot water doesn’t get very hot in the shower/bath, but you do have a kettle available if need be. Besides that, this is a hotel I’d recommend for a true luxury experience!"

"This hotel in a colonial style typical of East Africa was just a gem. We were given a nice room, large enough and with all we could wish for. The staff as all Tanzanians were just the friendliest and most helpful, going out of their way to make our stay a delay. We felt cared for and appreciated. When we go back to Tanzania we will go back to Slipway. The area of the hotel offered everything the heart would enjoy on a vacation: Nice walks, good restaurants, little gift shops, clothing shops, cafes etc. Assante. "

"Older hotel that has nice updates. The room and bathroom were very nice and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The food at the restaurants was mostly Indian dishes."
