"Pros: Close to the city center. Many restaurants nearby. Easy check-in and out. Washer and dryer worked well. Laundry soap was provided. Great toilet and shower. Large apartment. Plates, forks, cups, dish soap, dish washing sponge were provided. Cons: When we arrived, we had to wipe down the table and floors to clean up oils and spots from the previous guests. "The property is very close to Takayama train station and bus terminal. The owner is kind to send directions with photo in details so we can find the apartment easily. But directions to enter the room not very clear and it took us some time to enter the room. The room is very small with sharp corner of beds and easily knock on head when going down a step from bathroom area. Toilet paper has 2 rolls but each left with less then 1/10 of paper so we have to buy a roll of toilet paper from a...

"It is a base city for our 4d3n trip and the location is perfect, can't be better."

"Stairs. I am 88 and stairs with luggage is a bad combo. The owner has done a very good job in keeping the property clean and comfortable. The location can't be beat but this is not a place for older folks."

"What a cool spot to explore Takayama from - it's less than a minute's walk from Takayama Station and the communication from the host made it super easy to get into and get settled. Once you're ready to venture out, everything in Takayama is within 10-20 minutes of walking, from the castle ruins to Dokonaru Yokocho, it's all right out the front door.
