"A beautiful location, very peaceful and a welcoming host who was very attentive. A lovely spacious bedroom, great bathroom. Breakfast was substantial and I enjoyed the short walk down to the lake, along with the gardens which added to the vibe, along with the hens! Thanks again for a wonderful stay."

"Impressive architectural features. Stained glass windows and marble walls and floors in the public areas. The guest rooms need some refurbishment and the bathrooms need modernising, but the hotel ambience and excellent service provided by the staff made our stay very enjoyable."

"Lovely and clean, reception very helpful. Only issue was vans parked in the disabled bays. Both myself and my Husband have blue badges but each time we stay here there are vans in the disabled bays with no blue badges."
