"This onsen resort was very unique place and we were impressed by the good thoughtful facilities and very typical Japanese hospitality that we enjoyed. The surrounding town is peaceful and elegant. We would like to go back there in near future. "

"The service and especially the food was of the highest class. The ryokan’s public pools are small but you are given a pass which gives you free access to public bathhouses in the town. The location is a bit away from the town centre but a free shuttle bus is provided."

The room was fantastic as were the hotel facilities (which include a great onsen) and the team too. The kaiseki dinners in the room were utterly incredible and the Japanese breakfast each day was a delight. We loved it."

"The hotel is in a beautiful location but if you want to go into town it’s a very long walk. Hotel offers shuttle service but limited schedule to return. Very few taxis available. The staff is very helpful to accommodate you but you must plan in advance. The onsen in the hotel is very nice with stunning ocean views."
