"Nice and quiet, great place to wind down"

"This cottage is perfect for a single or couple. It was very clean amd tidy and had everything we needed. Its also in a great location so close to the main strip. And the best part is its dog friendly!!"

"We absolutely loved our stay here. We had just done a 3 day hike on the Wallaby trail and were very happy to settle into this property. Anthony was great at communicating and getting back to us about any questions we had. Thank you for having us stay! We'll definitely be back again"

"We absolutely loved this property - it had the old feel of the original cottage but was beautifully renovated but had everything we needed for a modern ,comfortable stay There wasn’t anything that hadn’t been thought of - all the modern appliances, luxurious bathroom products and bedding and even a few books and games for the kids .communication the Bree the owner was excellent We will definitely stay again and recommend to friends "

"This cottage ticked all the boxes for us -comfortable, well-furnished, and cute as a button. The bedroom has good bedside lamps for reading and we slept well. The kitchen and living space are well designed and attractively styled. The air-con cools the house nicely, and the fireplace looks very inviting for the winter months. But lovely as the interior is, our favourite spot was the front porch with its sunny aspect and restful view of trees. Hard to say who liked it more - us or our kelpie....

"We had a great stay at the property, it was exactly what we needed! The property is conveniently located being so close to town (walking distance). The kids loved their bedroom, the games provided, and the Easter treats were a very sweet touch. The whole house was very comfortable and plenty of amenities. Would love to stay again."

"The double spa bath is very welcome and decadent. The exterior is fun and has a luxurious cottage feel. Outside of that the cottage felt underwhelming, tired and in need of some repair. The bathroom needs regrouting, the vanity light wasn't working, the bed felt small, the main TV kept restarting and the light in the kitchen had a cardboard-box shade. All the appliances felt tired and in need of replacement. For the amount paid, it felt more like a 3 star than a 4 or 5 star stay."

"We stayed at Lynden Cottage for a weekend while we attended a family wedding. We absolutely loved the cottage, it felt very welcoming and homely. The first night was quite cold and it was a pleasant surprise to find the fire set and ready to go. We loved our stay and would definitely stay there again. Thanks Paul for your hospitality!"

"Great location. Clean. Wasn’t a fan of having to pull out microwave plug or kettle to plug in toaster. Found it rather odd that these appliances were more than close to the sink and awarded to get to. The cottage probably would be perfect for a young couple. Older people would prefer privacy when showering. "

"Overall a great stay. We did find crockery not very clean and photos made the place more glamorous than the reality, but it didn’t detract from our enjoyment "

"Astley House was a charming little one bed cottage. It was beautifully furnished, very clean and had everything we needed. A very enjoyable stay. "

"We enjoyed our stay. The garden is lovely, the location great, the house comfortable, the heating excellent and the spa relaxing. What to do with so many cushions? The kitchen was more than adequate but there were no matches for the gas. The bolts on the front door do not work well and we had a bit of trouble getting into the house. We were not able to connect to the internet."
