"We stayed for two nights in this small but lovely shepherd’s hut. It was kitted out well for 4 guests (but I think it would be very tight for four adults) and it was clean and very comfortable. It has a lovely private outside space and was very quiet. Good place to access the delights of Whitstable. "

"We had the most amazing stay. The property is beautifully decorated outside as well as the inside. Will make the perfect stay with family or friends. Extra bonus is we were able to swim in the river using our own pontoon. Cant recommend enough!"

"Very noisy due to traffic. Lounge sofa's very small and inadequate for adults, outside light not working need torch to find key hole. Bathroom and toilet very difficult to access due to poor layout no USB ports, no welcome pack, had to go to shop for milk after 6 hour journey. Wouldn't recommend staying here."

"Well appointed, comfortable, clean accommodation near shops, restaurants and the harbour. There was considerable care taken in making this a child-friendly space and the garden was appreciated by all."

"I really liked the bedrooms and the size of the property for 9 of us was perfect... The location and driveway were so convenient, litterally across the road from all the amenities. The property isn't perfect.... The bathroom and downstairs showeroom are very poorly finished and as a consequence have exposed wall, sub flooring and chipboard. There is also a substantial problem with mold in the showroom as there is no extractor (though weirdly a hole has been cut in the tiles to accommodate...

"Overall good with one caveat and a slight disappointment. The house was very comfortable to live in for a week, very well equipped, lovely lounge, comfortable kitchen, conservatory and outside space for all the family. The one issue for us were the quality of the mattresses. The upstairs main bedroom was way too soft,and the downstairs front bed also too soft. The other issue, not to do with the property was there was a warning on the beach not to go into the water because of poor water...

"This house was great for what we needed (group of girlfriends getting together). We loved the sunroom on the first floor and even got to sit outside in the gorgeous garden. The location is perfect and there is heaps of space. My only comment is that the bathrooms probably need a bit of updating, but apart from that would definitely recommend."

"Compact space with some storage and kitchenette and shower room. Ok perhaps for an overnight stay. But needed more room for longer stay."

"The Beach Hut is in a great location - really close to the beach, and a short drive from Rye and Hastings. The Hut was in great condition - very clean and the comfortable. The resort has lots to do (we had a lot of fun playing bingo!). Great for a family holiday or short break."
