"Directions from the host were easy to follow and came in a timely manner. The property is gated at the street and the exterior is well lit and felt safe. The unit itself was as described and even provided Turkish towels for the beach. A short walk will find you at the boardwalk where there are many shops and restaurants to enjoy. The unit smelled freshly cleaned when we arrived, the floors could use just a little extra scrubbing. We would stay here again. "

"Shannon met us at the condo at checkin and was super helpful and made our stay a great week. Dave was also a great host. The condo is a little dated but beds are super comfy, great AC, washer dryer in unit, nice view from porch and the pool was wonderful. Awesome view from pool. Downtown was 10 minute walk. Bring bug spray the mosqitos were bad early morning and late evenings on porch due to a ton of rain before we arrived. View made up for the bug bites. I would stay here again..."

"We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!"

"Overall, the property was great! It had all we needed for our stay and it was in a safe nice gated community. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons. We never received the gate code so there was confusion upon checking in. Also, the water in the shower had poor pressure and only got somewhat warm even after running for 20 minutes or so. Otherwise, the place was very nice with great views of the island and ocean. Hoda was helpful and responsive to our messages. "

"The owners went above and beyond to assist us in all our needs at Cane Bay. Having concierge guide us from the airport was invaluable. The home was so comfortable and well appointed. It was so easy to unwind. The only jump scare was the trek up and down the hill to the property, but with 4 wheel drive, it all worked out. We will always look back at our stay fondly! "
