"Got here a little late, hotels.com didn't offer instructions on how to check in, but the owner/manager? Came right away and helped me to my room. Very nice guy, explained how everything worked. The room was very cute, cozy and clean. Comfortable bed, great shower, and I was even given some cookies from the café they're partnered with. "The room was great, perfect for what I needed, really comfortable bed. The toiletries smelt amazing (I will probably hunt them down to purchase). Location for Winchester is also ideal. The only downside was breakfast I'm sure it would have been delicious but as I was needing to get to the office for 9am I was tight for time even if breakfast had been available at the advertised time of 8am but as there was a note on the stairs in the morning to say it was delayed (these things happen) I missed...

"When we arrived at the Griffin, to our surprise, our reservation was canceled. Apparently, the Griffin had a water leak and were in the process of repairing the damage. They said that an email was sent to us canceling our reservations 2 days prior. We were on a cruise at the time and did not get this email because we had no service while on the cruise.
