"The house wasn't in perfect condition, but it was well furnished and we had no huge problems during our stay. We couldn't key in the door unlock code, so we had to wait for the host to call back, and explain where the key was hidden. The 2 kayaks were nice, but we could only find one paddle. The steps down to the beach were rickety, but not dangerous. The deck furniture was comfortable, and we enjoyed having plentiful bedrooms and showers. "

"I love this cottage park, not my first stay. Minor problem with some (very small amount) of mold in my bedroom. Not noticeable to anyone else but I am allergic so it did make it hard for me to sleep. Wifi is spotty and cell phone signal is poor. Other than that the cottage was lovely. Nice space with lots of room for everyone. Well located with a splash pad and park across the street, fishing very close, and a beach a short walk away. Would still stay again but will bring my air filter...

"This place had so many issues. The toilets didn’t work properly, only the upstairs bathroom flushes. So if you think you can have more than 5 people to this property - please be aware! The host put up an ad with a bunkie, which was on our arrival locked up cause the toilet apparently flooded everything and we were short of beds. The garage has the worst smell. It smells moldy. No one can possibly stand there for more than 5 minutes let alone sleep there as suggested by the host. The beds...

"Our family was in Port Elgin for the weekend to attend a celebration of life and it also happened to be pumpkin fest weekend in Port Elgin. The cottage was the perfect location, really clean, very comfortable recliner couches in the living room for movie nights and just overall an incredibly relaxing cottage vibe for all of us. Spacious primary room for us to setup our baby’s pack and play for sleeping. The host made communication easy. We would happily book this cottage again in the future. "

"First off, the listing is not accurate - it states "5 bedrooms", it's 3 bedrooms, a sunroom and a loft. As well two bed pictures in the listing were not in the space we rented - this should be fixed. One of the "queen beds" was actually two box springs and a 2 inch foam piece - not even remotely useable. The kitchen is well equipped, but when we got there 2 of the 3 pot lights over the sink as well as the light over the stove was out-we replaced what we could. The space is large for sure, but...
