"This is a good place to stay if your main focus is skiing/snowboarding. This is more of a rustic cabin stay. Our room had two beds and an attached bathroom. There is a restaurant with some dinner service at night. You are a 5 minute walk to the ski slope and a 1 minute walk from a ski rental shop and a western style pub restaurant. "Came as a solo traveller to snowboard for a week. This hotel was perfect for me, beds were a little small but thats common everywhere in japan. Its not the Ritz but is perfect for a place to pass out each night and location is central in echoland. "

"Quite possibly one of the hidden gems of Hakuba Goryu. If you want the true Hakuba local experience and taken back in time, this is your spot. No frills and feel like you are staying with your relatives. Amazing hosts that go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant.
