"Loved the house and location. Lots of stairs. My teenage boys loved the basement. 2 stars for cleanliness. Bedroom was dusty. Bathroom sinks were dirty with old toothpaste and hair. Dead bugs in basement. Old energy drink can and water bottle. Beds were comfy. Perfect location for us. The boys rode like scooters to the arch. Would stay here again."

"This is a great location to enjoy all the amenities on The Hill, without having to drive. Parking can be a little issue, but doable. Host was easy to communicate with and provided information as needed."

"I'm 83 years old and found the steps to bit narrow and steep, but I finally figured it out. There was one hand towel that had been used, folded up and put back, but when my son opened it, it was filthy in the center. As a suggestion, you might plug in a multiple outlet socket in each bedroom for charging cell phones, laptops,watches, etc. Overall, we enjoyed the house."

"We picked this place to meet up with my 20-something son from DC and their 80-something grandparents (my parents) from the Springfield area. The layout was exceptional-only 4 steps to get in, and my parents could go to their bedroom, kitchen and living area on the same level, while the boys could hang out downstairs watching TV or playing Air Hockey. It worked perfectly for us for the weekend."

"My best friend of 50 years and I spent four days at this lovely house. The hosts were wonderful; answered any questions we had very promptly. We are both in our 70s and the stairs were more of a challenge than I had anticipated from the pictures, but we managed. The house is lovely, the grounds are great and the fishing was awesome. We would definitely recommend this or a quiet getaway, especially if you like to fish."
