"Adorable, quaint Inn. The rooms were decorated with matching walls and window treatments. In my room, the sink was outside of the bathroom, which was convenient. The grounds were wonderful to just sit outside & enjoy the weather, read or work on a laptop. There were benches & a gazebo. I called & told them I wasn't going to be there until late. "Buck Inn is a beautiful historical building in a very quiet area. I do believe there were crickets in the basement, but fortunately, I love the sound of crickets. Our room, the Van Gogh, was spacious & comfortable. It doesn't have an in-room private bathroom, but since we were the only guests during our stay, the bathroom a few steps down the hall wasn't a problem. "This space was exactly what I wanted for my solo weekend! Self-contained in a charming, large house I had everything I needed in a conveniently-located crash pad. The train station is across the street but somehow very unobtrusive. The train into the city runs at least once an hour, making it easy to explore from the convenience of the house.
