"Ahead of my wedding my friends and I gathered for a weekend on a lake. This property was within high end restaurants and had wifi, a nice dock and lots of beds. The cottage is clearly organized. Everything was in order and instructions were available Daphney was prompt in answering all questions and we had no issues all weekend with everything on site. I'd fully recommend this location."

"From the entrance, driving beside a channel that connects the lakes, we knew that this was going to be a wonderful weekend. We enjoyed so many things, but especially the number of bedrooms and bathrooms could easily accommodate 12 of us, the kitchen was spacious for prepping and cooking, the fire pit was huge, the water access on multiple sides of the property was amazing, and the hot tub was a bonus after a day of kayaking and canoeing. I would gladly recommend this place to anyone."

"Overall, the hosts were great. The place was modern and updated and very clean, everything was well kept and the property and the water were beautiful. On the location: I didn't realize from the pictures how close the neighbors are. It's like being at a cottage in the suburbs. The neighbours were all nice but it being the first long weekend of the summer, everyone was doing lawn and deck maintenance which meant constant noise during the day. It didn't feel at all secluded. "We loved our stay @thehausontheriver. When we arrived it was very clean and there was a cute little welcome gift left for us. It had everything we needed and more. The host was so great with communication and made sure we were able to get in and didn’t need anything else. I loved the little binder of FYIs about the cottage - made it easy for us. We will definitely go back for another stay!"
