It is an old 2-star hotel, run in an ultra-thrifty manner. We checked into our hotel room to find there was no heat on, and it was literally at freezing temperature. Luckily we could put the heat on and return 6 hours later. The beds have minimal bedding, suited for summer time, and there is no extra bedding. The breakfast is very low quality and we left for Starbucks to get a decent coffee. Sad place.

The rooms were very dated , not sound proof at all. There were stains all over the couches. All the side tables and coffee table were literally hanging on by screws. Falling apart. The pool was not working and there was. Girls hockey team there. Parents drinking in the hall and kids having chair races screaming down the hall. I’m all for kids having fun but there was zero sound proofing in the walls.

TLDR: The hot tub and sauna are closed for maintenance or out of order. The pool area is frigid, the change rooms are unheated. The check-in process was easy. My room was ready right way. The hotel is outdated. The hallways smell of cigarettes. My room was clean-ish. The toilet paper holder wasn't attached to the wall, and fell off the first time it was used. The beds are not comfortable. There was only three stations on the television. The pool area is large but freezing. There was huge ice blocks built up on the windows. The hot tub was closed for maintenance. The sauna was out of order and the change rooms are unheated. It was too cold to stay for long. We checked out less than two hours after arriving

Holes in walls and doors. Not clean at all. Bathrooms and pool facilities dirty with grime and dirt. Not noise proof, loud boisterous guests across hall. Nothing done by staff. Did not feel safe there. Not worth the 280$ I paid for one night.

For non smoking rooms, they smelled like smoke and the sheets has cigarette burn holes in them. The breakfast was subpar... burnt sausages and greasy potato tots. I went to Tim Hortons beside hotel for breakfast. Overall, the hotel is very tired looking. My bathroom door was partially broken and the knob is loose.

A regular place we have come for lots of years. But, in the last few years alot of broken parts in the room including furniture snd back dliding foor. Property doesnt seem as well kept. The breakfast is not as good as it was. Lots of broken games in the arcade. Pool and hot tub dont seem clean.

This property is conveniently located, but that is the only perk. It smells like a combination of stale cigarettes and mould. The rooms are filthy, with unknown substance splatters on the walls, beds are uncomfortable and I’m honestly too scared to do any deep digging for bed cleanliness because we don’t have any other options for accommodations. Check-in was quick and we were allowed in early. I can’t wait to check-out.
