"Our Christmas getaway was perfect. The team were exceptionally helpful and friendly. No ask was too much trouble. Breakfast was epic and relaxed. "A very quaint Hotel with quirky features. Noisy floor boards so you could hear people moving around. Food was good but little more expensive than normal Green King prices. Recently stayed in a Wetherspoons Hotel as well, who provided a lot more tea/coffee/hot chocolate etc in the room. Would be an idea to increase at the Anchor. Great location with some on site parking but we couldn't use it so park on the road. Would recommend."
