"Good pub to stay at with reasonable prices, except for the charge to bring your dog. The room for one night was £60 but the fee to bring two dogs was £40. Then they tried to double charge us for the dogs so £80 a night. We complained and they marked it down to £20 per night for the dogs which is about the norm for the area. Beds were comfortable. Will not stay again unless they revisit their per dog/per night charge... "

"Our Christmas getaway was perfect. The team were exceptionally helpful and friendly. No ask was too much trouble. Breakfast was epic and relaxed. Dinner was superb, fantastic simply cooked pub favourites and a couple of alternative choices for those wanting something a bit different! "We were welcomed by zoe on reception who was friendly and engaging. Quicky given our room key and went to our room. The decor is a little dated but the room was spacious and warm. The bed was huge and comfy so what more could you ask for. We had breakfast which was buffet style and eat as much as you wanted. The best thing about this hotel has to be the view over Chesil beach which is amazing. We would have no hesitation staying again. "
