"The cabin was fantastic- had everything we needed for a 3 night/ 4 day stay. It is fairly remote so id say plan accordingly but thats what we loved about it! Ammenties in the cabin are great ( even used the dryer after a really nice day at the beach to quickly dry some bathing suits ) overall great, hoping to be back soon!!"

"Such a fun space with living area, kitchen & plenty of bedrooms and bathroom space for all of us (5 ). Kitchen could be better stocked with some basics (salt, pepper, oil) but good set up for a small group. Excellent location with tasty pub, restaurant, cafe options within walking distance. Off street parking was perfect - finding the place was a bit tricky but once you understand, it's great. Thank you to "Peter" who met us and was very helpful & responsive via text. Will totally stay here...

"We loved our 2 week stay in this stylish 1960s Mid-Century Modern bungalow with Lough Corrib at the end of the garden. The building is very original, retaining period features with some sympathetic updating in kitchen and bathrooms. The views out over the lough are mesmerising. "Our family reunion of 6 stayed here for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing 450 year old Tower. We had meals and played games in the great room, viewed the sunsets from the rooftop ramparts and generally lived like the Royal family (minus the servants of course). It served as an unforgettable and spectacular setting for a long overdue reunion for our family. We would return in a heartbeat."

"My family and I had a fabulous time staying in this (as the title say's) Charming property. Our host Peggy was a very kind person and was very helpful to us, if we needed anything. Interesting to have a sweet little dog and cat in the courtyard and a beautiful horse in the pasture. would definitely stay again."

"The big pros of this place are location and size! A once in a lifetime trip with adult children/spouses and this space was large enough for the 7 of us and it is close enough to walk to public transit around Ireland. Easy to communicate with and check in/check out easy. Part of our group ended up delayed by a day but part of us made it and check in and communication was everything! Please note that by American standards the bathrooms/showers are small but there are enough that the space works...

"Beautiful house, very well equipped in a lovely, quiet spot convenient for Claremorris and the airport. Small herd of alpacas in the field beside the house are a delight. John and Sarah were happy to help with anything we needed and were very kind and accommodating when a storm disrupted our travel plans. Would highly recommend."

"We spent two lovely weeks at the Brownstown Lodge. The house is spacious and comfortable. It was a good base for our exploration of western Ireland. Thomas responded immediately to our texts. Jim and Mary were wonderful hosts. There was cake and a lovely bouquet of fresh flowers waiting for us upon arrival. Midway through our stay, Mary brought us a delicious homemade rhubarb crisp!
