"Mary at the desk was super helpful when we first arrived. Everything was clean and comfortable, and it was nice that it was so close to everything. Would definitely recommend and return sometime in the future. "

"We had a wonderful stay. We had a kettle for tea or coffee in our room with milk provided and delicious little cookies as well. Hillary, the owner brought us a water in a pitcher and glasses if we were thirsty. Breakfast was delicious with options ranging from a full breakfast to a continental breakfast. We very much enjoyed our stay."

"The room was spacious, well-equipped, and clean. I liked the on-site laundry facilities. The downside was that on-site parking was limited. "

"Good, affordable spot not far from the main hub of action. We got a room that opened up into a kitchen and living area with an extra bed for our son. Cold breakfast was perfect for us. Tea and coffee and fruit were always available. I wish there was a spot to hang wet towels. Hooks are needed or towel racks."

"Excellent and clean with minimal noise despite the construction. The tub was a little deep compared to the bathroom floor but otherwise it was all amazing. The communal areas were clean and the staff was very helpful in calling cabs and assisting the Uber eats guy with finding me lol. There is a bus stop right down the street that will take you into town. "

"Our stay was fine. Toiletries are nailed down and there was no soap in the shower? Room was small but clean. The staff was pleasant"

"Great place, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Only downside was it is a bit of a distance from town if walking 25-30 minutes maybe. Not an issue if you have a vehicle and only a minor if not."

"The apartment was fabulous! The only negative was the check in/out process. You have to check in at the Western hotel, which means you have to park in the hotel's underground parking which is a disaster and you have to repeat the whole crazy process on check out. Once we got into the apartment it was lovley."

"Fabulous views and location on the water, very near the centre of town. Four good comfortable double beds, 3 bathrooms with showers and toilets, plenty of towels, blankets, pillows etc. Kitchen well provisioned with some nice extras provided: milk, cereal, waters, cokes, biscuits, coffee beans with grinder and coffee filters/machine etc. All nice and clean. Good communication with host, thanks Pamela!"

Beautiful old hotel in a great location!

"We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful old hotel right next to the train station and in the very walkable city of Galway. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable and I appreciated the water cartons in the room. We would definitely stay here again!"

"This is the perfect location for a solo or couple traveling wanting to experience Galway to the fullest without any hassle. The car park was right next door and easy to find. The hotel itself was surrounded by dining and drinking locations all within just a few minute walk. Convenience and ease of access made this stay unique compared to any other city in Ireland. Galway ended up being my favorite place to visit among all the major destinations in Ireland and The Snug Townhouse helped exceed expectations."
