nice little house
This suited us well for a 1 night stay. There were 4 of us. The twin bed I slept in makes noise every time I rolled over, so didn't sleep well. I have stayed in the vicinity before so I expected no cell service upon arrival, so just be aware and print the instructions to enter the home because you may not be able to get in on your phone. It's very small, but perfectly fine for us. I prefer dealing directly with the owner through VRBO instead of all the texts/notifications from Vacasa. That was annoying. They sent me 8 texts and an equal number of emails. Some were necessary, but certainly not all of them. We own a rental at a different ski area and they always want us to use them. Not happening. Thanks

Ski House in the Woods
Great place in Killington. Surrounded by woods with lots of windows to enjoy the view. about 10-15 minutes from the lifts. Lots of sleeping areas, full kitchen and comfortable, though cozy, living room with large screen tv. Only downside is one bathroom.

Family retreat
We booked the property for an early Thanksgiving with our Vermont family. It was a nice place to gather for a retreat. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a nice meal! All the necessary amenities were included & made for an easy and relaxing mini vacay. Loved being able to see the stars from the large windows at night!

Perfect Vermont getaway!
Loved this place. The property is in a gorgeous area and neighborhood, but it is still secluded and quaint. The house is comfortable, clean and functional. Kitchen is great, but I would recommend bringing cooking oil and additional spices. Bring some extra blankets if you want to snuggle up. We will definitely be returning to this gem!

Great property for the price and location
The overall experience was very good. It was an excellent deal for the price and location. Pros : 1. Price, Location and Comfort of the property 2. The bed was comfortable 3. Had everything you need for cooking Cons: 1. As is stated in the description, the road to the property requires an SUV. ( We had one, so no issues for us ) 2. The spiral staircase. The sleeping beds are on top and the bottom, but the bathroom is in the middle section. During the night if you want to go to the bathroom you have to take the stairs. Then novelty wears off quickly once you need to go to the bathroom at night. I personally would not recommend this place to anyone olderly or young kids. Overall great stay, and a BIG PLUS for being able to bring our dog with us.

Close to Killington, lacking on amenities
This place is a lot smaller than the pictures make it seem. It was clean, however there was only one roll of toilet paper in the entire place we were expected to use for a week, between 6 dudes. No courtesy spices, not even salt or paper towels. Not a bad place but it was very bare bones. On the upside it was warm and the beds were comfy. Great location for hitting the slopes.

Cute cabin - read listing carefully
We ended up renting the week of a major snow storm - when the listing suggests having snow tires or chains - take it seriously. Other than that, the cabin was cute, came with clean linens and toiletries. There’s no on site laundry, so be prepared for that. Otherwise, super close to the slopes.

Our stay was comfortable but the price was not justifiable. This house is best suited for young families given the amount of single beds.

Had a really good time at Bob's Bungalow. It's near Killington and we found a nearby dog sitter on rover.com to drop our dog during the day while we skied. The kids loved having their own space in the basement. It's 4 instead of 5 because the kitchen ware was more than well used and could use freshening. Most of the pots and pans were burnt; knives were so dull they wouldn't cut; couldn't find a cookie sheet. We arrived at night and during the middle of a winter storm; while we are well accustomed to winter driving and have AWD, someone coming from warmer climates should be aware of the mountainous and relatively remote location. The driveway was plowed the following morning. Wifi signal was great. All in all, a fun stay and we would stay there again.

Lovely Location - Great Space
We were happy with our stay at Bob's Bungalow. The house was clean and well taken care of. The spiral stairs were tricky for our dog so he remained on the main floor. The location was quiet and felt private. It was close to Killington and Pico ski resorts, which would be great in winter. We took advantage of all the great nearby hiking locations!

Difficult Check-in
Thankfully we arrived while still daylight, as finding the lock box was hard. We should have been told it was not on the door but rather on an opposite post not at eye level. We had to call Vacasa and they were helpful, finally using a backup lock box even more difficult to locate. Also, the photos do not clearly show that the bathroom is not on the same level as the main bedroom, which is located up a narrow winding staircase to a loft. This is not an ideal situation for some people.

Nice Property but Have a Few Concerns
The house is at a really good location for those who are interested in winter activities in Vermont. It’s easy to access to multiple locations while also enjoy a nice view a little further up the road (there is a nice look out area). We took full advantage of the wood burning stove and that kept the house warm. Thankfully the wood burning stove was there because some base heaters didn’t work, while others did. There is also no smoke detectors on the main or loft floors, only the basement, which is highly concerning. Another problem we noticed was near the spiral stair case, there is a section where there is a large gap between the flooring and the stair case, which is dangerous for small children or dogs. There was a review from 2018 expressing the same concern and still wasn’t addressed or fixed. The house is a good place to stay, would suggest adding a few more things to the kitchen (pans, oven pans, clean and new silverware). My party and myself enjoyed the house overall!
