"If you don't want the noise, hustle and bustle of the city, stay at Borahead Lodge. A peaceful, quiet cottage only minutes from dining, groceries and Dublin. It's a short drive (40 minutes) from Dublin airport. 20 minute drive to the Red Cow park and ride Luas station so you don't have to fight Dublin downtown traffic. Bridie (our friendly host) gave great advice about the area and shared pears from her orchard. If we're ever back in Ireland, we will be staying here."

"I have to preface this with an *. I had booked the gardener's cottage but there was some sort of booking mishap and the cottage was double booked. To their credit they gave me a room in the main house which was very nice. It was technically an up-grade and there was no charge. "We stayed in the lodges accommodation which are modern and comfortable. Food in the Hermione restaurant was delicious with plenty of options. The staff are so friendly I cannot afford this gorgeous hidden gem"

"The hotel is beautifully furnished. Bedroom very clean and comfortable with ample plug-in and USB points. The only issue is not enough tea or coffee in the tray. The only mirror is in the bathroom, making applying make up difficult whilst partner is showering, steamy mirrors. Really could do with a mirror in a well lit area of bedroom. We had dinner and breakfast, and the food was of excellent quality. I would definitely stay here again."
