"So our stay started off great! Lovey spacious family room with a smart tv to watch Netflix on so kids were delighted. However at around 12.30am the couple next door decided to have a domestic and our kids got scared listening to this. Adam the night porter moved us to another room within minutes of asking him. The room we got to smelled of smoke and paint which wasn’t ideal however the next morning we were moved to a similar room from the first night! In fairness the hotel couldn’t know that 2 w**kers would start killing each other but they done absolutely everything they could to facilitate us! Dinner was beautiful breakfast had a lot of choices and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly! I would recommend anyone to stay here it’s just outside the town so there’s no noise at night and a good nights sleep is guaranteed considering no one decides to be Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson next door to you!! Thank you to everyone for your enjoyable and easy stay. We will be back again !!!"

"Loved the location opposite the Mayo Peace Garden and just 10 mins walk from the hustle of Castlebar. Breakfasts were great but the restaurant menu wasn't easy for me as I'm Gluten and Dairy Free. NO PROBLEM - our lovely waitress chatted with the chef and I had an absolutely delicious Thai curry. Thank you so much for your care and attention. We had a great stay X"

"I always stay at The Park when visiting Mayo...and The Park just keeps getting better! The breakfasts and lunches and dinners are outstanding. The service is outstanding. The rooms are very comfortable. The room cleanliness is exceptional.The location is great, too. I come in from the USA, and I can't imagine staying anywhere else."

"Staff very attentive and friendly in lounge/restaurant at night and at breakfast following morning. Plenty to do in Tubercurry including a theatre. The car park is at the back of property so you have to come in a back door and go all the way through breakfast room and lounge to get to reception. No heating on in room when we arrived and took a while to heat but was lovely and cosy then. Double bed ok for one but not so comfortable for two. Pillows were good tho. "

"If you like a modern hotel this is not the place for you. It is full of interesting old memorabilia and history. I have never come across such personable friendly staff. Fabulous meals in both the restaurant and the cafe. "

"Ballina Manor was okay but needs some update to its overall condition. Was a bit disappointed that there was no temperature control in the room as it was rather stuffy in there. In summary, nice but could improve. Hotel staff was okay. Not rude, but definitely not excellent service "
