"Avril offered us a real bed and breakfast experience, meaning we felt like we were invited to stay the night in her home. We had a long interesting chat in the morning. If people want more of a "quick-and-easy" hotel experience, perhaps this is not the place for you. The room was beautiful with view on the sea, the house was very nice: we felt like the time had stopped for a bit which is exactly what we were looking for. "Lovely seaside location with great views towards Aran. Our room was large with a great big comfortable bed and a fab bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and rainfall shower over it. The bar and restaurant are also lovely with good selection of food for dinner and breakfast, both of which we enjoyed.."

"We had a lovely room with a nice see view. Only there for one night but enjoyed a couple of drinks in the bar & the breakfast was a great start to the day. All the staff in bar, reception & dinning room were friendly & helpful....all with smiles on their faces & happy to chat."

"My single room was quite small but I was surprised at how well appointed it was. It was reasonably quiet on a monday night with no street noise. The two meals I had while staying, we both excellent as were all the staff I encountered."
