"When I booked the whole room, it clearly has a tag 'private washroom' but when i get into the room, there was no private washroom rather than a common space for shower, basin and toilet and male female washroom was not separated which was very inappropriate. The hostel should remove the fake advertising of 'private washroom' with this dorm room."

"Great hostel to stay at, very lively and always something going on. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a private room which was just like a very standard hotel room. Music was loud but that is expected with it being a party hostel, and music is turned down every night at 1 anyways. Overall a very pleasant stay!"

"Maybe it was just our room… but the bathroom ceiling was moldy and shower walls looked like they’d never been cleaned. The room smelled like mildew and there was a cockroach in it. The location is great and people were very nice but we spent as little time in the room as possible. "

"Comfortable beds and new rooms that smell and look clean. Customer service was excellent and any issues were quickly solved. I would recommend this to backpackers who wanna spend a couple nights in Ao Nang. Good location and chill atmosphere."

"really convenient location; 7 eleven next door & laundry place a few shops down; 10 min walk to the beach; really nice design & layout for the common areas; it is on the main street though so expect the common areas to have a lot of street traffic noise which is pretty loud; rooms have a lot less street traffic noise depending on if it's right by the main street or if the rooms are farther away"

"Great location. ATM, 7-11, street food, restaurants, night life, laundromat, massage and riverside within 2 minutes walk. Place was clean despite high turnover of people. Stayed in 4 X doorm and it was very spacious. Some lights not working when reporting to the staff they weren't too bothered, the issue was not rectified during my stay - 3 nights. "Place could be a bit more clean Some people do not clean after themselves The 4 bedroom dorm is small and the beds a bit noisy but what a wonderful spot! On the beach with a great swimming pool. I also met very cool people even if you need to socialize yourself. "

"Sadly most of the staff was unfriendly (except one guy who showed us our dorm room) and not motivated to interact with residents or help (some even ignored the guests). Lots of the inventory (e.g. showers or dorm room beds) was broken and needed repair, but no one seemed to care. Also, it‘s one thing to set up strict rules, but the other thing is how you communicate them to the guests. We didn‘t feel welcomed and were happy when we finally left."

"This hostel is amazing from the staff to the location everything is right. It's based in a bungalow resort so you get to use all the resort facilities. Decent swimming pool and the beach is a few mins walk. The staff done everything for us without effort, I only booked 2 nights here and ended up staying 9 nights. Defo recommended from me"

"This was one of our favorite properties, we were located on the second floor and even though the front desk said it didn't have a view it have a really nice view of the mountains. The bed was super comfortable, large pool and recliners available, its basically a mini apartment with a kitchen, full fridge, spacious shower and a large balcony. "Our stay at Hotel Adam was exceptional. In fact, we liked it so much that ended up canceling our reservation at a more family-focused sister hotel Panan down the street and spending three more nights at Adam than expected. This place is a little hidden gem in a bustling Ao Nang, and just a 10 min walk to the beach along a mountain. Each room is beautiful and has a private pool looking out to either ocean or more peaceful mountain side. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and helped us deal with a tricky hotel-moving situation. The booking desk in the lobby was able to book us last minute activities including a cooking class and two private drivers to see emerald pool, hot springs, and tiger cave mountain. Surprisingly, booking a private driver was around the same price as doing a group tour — highly recommend! The architecture here is very special. The rooms, the rooftop, and the breakfast restaurant (get breakfast, thank me later) are all incredibly beautiful. Special thanks to Tia, Walls, Aey, and Jane for taking such excellent care of our stay. When we are in Krabi next time, there is no question that we will stay here again."

Great Choice in Ao Nang

"After reading a few negative reviews we tried to change our booking to the Bluesotel SMART adults only, I’m so glad we didn’t end up switching because this location is far closer to the restaurants and shops, a short walk to the beach and we had a fantastic stay! The rooms are modern and spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the balcony facing the pool was lovely. The pool area actually looks much nicer than the pictures and we spent a lot of time there— especially at happy hour where the cocktails are buy one get one free. You can order food to your lounge chairs and if was all really good—especially the pizza. We found the staff very friendly and really enjoyed our week here. "
