This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo sleeps 6 with 2 queen beds and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. This unit features a private balcony with beautiful slope views and private grill for guest use. From the kitchen to the bathrooms, the entire unit features updated hardwood floors and granite countertops. Oro Grande is nearly equal distance from River Run Village and the Mountain House Base Area, and a short drive from Arapahoe Basin. Oro Grande Lodge also offers shared amenities, including an indoor pool and hot tub.

Entryway offers convenient storage for your gear as you come and go with a storage bench, hooks and closet. The living area features a Smart TV, surround sound system, queen-sized sleeper sofa all next to a beautiful gas fireplace. Additional sheets and blankets provided in the closet. The large sliding glass doors allow plenty of natural light, and beautiful slope views with a private grill for guests to enjoy.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home. The dining area comfortably seats six with two additional seats at the breakfast bar. Down the hall is the full bathroom with a shower/tub combination. All bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The master bedroom features a Queen size bed and a flat screen TV. The en suite bathroom has a single sink vanity and a shower/tub combination. The guest bedroom also features a Queen size bed and has a flat screen TV with bathroom access just across the hall.

**Please note that we have a minimum age requirement. To reserve this vacation rental, the paying guest must be 26 years of age or older. This property also requires a minimum of 2 nights to be reserved. If you reserve less than 2 nights you will be contacted and required to either lengthen your stay or cancel your reservation. Great location!
We enjoyed our two night stay. Across the street from the Keystone resort, restaurants and shopping. Only 20 minutes to Loveland ski area and Breckenridge. The only downside was the entire building was incredibly hot, it was difficult to cool down our unit even when we opened all the doors and windows. Overall we were very pleased with the accommodations.

Reviewer Comments: Nice unit that’s very well equipped....stayed the month of September ...substantial highway noise...unit is hot as we needed door and windows open with box fans running....building being painted during most of our stay, they were noisy and smelly with paint fumes and exhaust....one inconvenience is the accessibility of the garage with luggage carts...had to take cart outside to the parking lot where we had to park car to unload and load...can’t easily take a cart to the garage...no elevator access....also HOA turned off gas fireplace half way through stay...

Stay close to the chairlift
The apartment was very nice, well equiped and as described, only a bit too hot. The pool and hot tub were great and it has indoor parking. Walking distance to the Peru Express chairlift if snowboard you can do it in ten minutes. With ski boots you would probably prefer the short drive. Overall a great experience and I would recommend it.

Well stocked with towels, bedding, seating for 6 at table, a garage for our vehicle, and even a locker in garage for ski equipment. Only complaint would be the heat in the room even though we turned thermostat way down, but we managed it all with cracked windows. Kitchen had everything except a cookie sheet, but didn’t change my rating of 5. Kitchen even had coffee filters, salt/pepper and other seasonings, and more. On day of arrival, I received a text with helpful info about the place, and surrounding area, check in and check out info, etc. I would stay here again.

Too hot to handle
After being charged $25 to check in 90 minutes early we walked into a hot box. It was close to 90 degrees in the Unit. We opened all windows/door wall (that worked) turned on the ceiling fan and got the box fans out of the closets. At night we had to close the door wall due to safety and snow was physically coming into the unit and it went right back up to 83 degrees both nights. We left a day early because it was just too unbearable to stay. No refund was given. Every time I called the maintenance number, or sent a msg via VRBO I was just asked if I needed fan. I had a 2 yr old child with me who was sweating in his sleep. I was using fans (both the ceiling fan and box fans) and had the windows open and no other help or compensation was offered. Miserable.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was clean and the main areas spacious. The bedrooms were a bit tight and we could not use any closet space because they were also packed with stuff. I liked having two bathrooms, but there were *just enough* towels for everyone and not enough for pool and showering for our party of 5. The main problem with the room was the heat. It was over 75 when we got there but the thermostat was set to zero. The guest book said there'd be a nest thermostat but there wasn't. The owners did send maintenance to check it out but they said there was nothing wrong. It just made it hard to sleep, impossible to enjoy the fireplace. Two of the bedroom windows could not be opened to help cool it down. The kitchen was decently stocked, but just one days worth of coffee. That was fine because we brought coffee, but the filters were the wrong size and the pot kept overflowing. It was just okay and with only two real beds in tight bedrooms, and few extras, a late check in and early check out, not to mention having to take out trash and do dishes at check out, it just felt like the price was way more than it should have been.

Looking at the ski slopes, magnificent views
We skied Vail, Breck, and Keystone. So thankful for the hot tub and pool. The condo was great. Beds nice, coach bed was great too. Indoor parking made loading and unloading so much easier.

Nice Place You've Got There
The unit is very nice and very clean and you can see the mountains. You can also see--and hear--cars, trucks, motorcycles zooming by. Before we reserved it, I emailed the management company asking about traffic noise, and they replied that Highway 6 is not a busy highway. Well...actually......it kinda is. But the class of the unit itself and the nicely equipped kitchen and having an elevator (!) and plenty of parking and a smart TV help that issue to seem less problematic, I guess. In other VRBO stays, someone from the management company has always called us during the stay to see if we need anything. I never heard from anyone with this rental while we were there. Would I recommend it? Yes, actually I would---but do not say I didn't mention the traffic noise. Still, it is a classy place, a comfortable stay, beautifully furnished, and worth a look!
