Comfortable roomy home conveniently located close to family. Will come back for next get together!
Relaxing! Host responded to all inquiries quickly and respectfully. Beds were very comfortable. Check in and check out directions were easy and clear. Would stay again.
The cabin was very nice...a rustic/bohemian vibe...plenty of room and all the amenities...have a great video of a pileated woodpecker demolishing a landscape tie looking for bugs and even saw a couple of hummingbirds...thank you for a great time.
For our ladies weekend away this cabin was perfect! Our host seemed to think of all the little things, like setting up the firepit with kindling and having the A/C on when we arrived. Would definitely stay here again next time we wander into the Catskills area.
We stayed here while visiting SUNY New Paltz. It was about a 25 minute drive to campus. A nice quiet location. But with 10-15 minutes there are nice restaurants and breweries. Very clean and comfortable. Easy to communicate with owner.
I have to say this cabin was so cozy and felt like home. As soon as we stepped in I could tell there must have not been a single germ on site with how clean this was lol! It rained over the weekend but the cabin has such great ambiance that rain didn’t matter. I went with hubby for a weekend getaway but it’s a great spot to go as a family as well. There is great Mexican restaurant just minutes away. There isn’t too much to do in the town itself but we drove to Kingston for activities and other food places. Owner was very available with any questions and made everything accessible. Would definitely stay at Mais cabin again!

4 Night Rental
On the positive side the cabin was very clean. On the negative side, the neighborhood was mainly trailers and inadequate window coverings created a lack of privacy at night. There was no cable tv and the reception of Netflix and Samsung tv was intermittent. We were told to remove our shoes indoors and that there was no smoking, even on the outside deck. The towels were poor quality and there were no washcloths. There were no closets.
Wonderful home and amazing communication.
Our host answered all messages immediately and was very welcoming and inviting.
Our kids loved the bunk beds and the backyard.
We will for sure be booking here again!
Such a beautiful comfortable place! Many beds, gorgeous deck and yard—even though it rained all weekend. Very quiet except for owls at night, close to the Kerhonksen diner, a great brewery, and a beautiful state park for hiking—I hope we can return next year!
It's a little house with a lot of features! So many beds, and the second half-bath in the closet is adorable!
That kitchen is so pleasant and inviting--we wound up pulling up chairs into the kitchen and talking for hours. Some of the mattresses are quite firm, which my friend Jay was SO SO happy about!
Perfect place for our writing retreat. Very comfortable, super-well equipped, and two amazing patios to relax, write, dine and enjoy nature. We hope to return.
The cabin was perfectly described. It was clean, comfortable, and lovely. Mai was easy to communicate with and very helpful. We will definitely stay there again.
Mai’s cabin fulfilled our hopes for a quiet, cosy place in the woods. We were able to kayak the Hudson River and Rondout Creek, bike the extensive rail trails, be close to family in New Paltz and attend Midnight Ramble at Levon Helms’ Barn in Woodstock. Added benefit of a fully functional kitchen and tuned piano… who could ask for more. The cabin is uniquely furnished, beds are comfortable. We hope to return when in the area. Barb and Dave
