"In spite of the terrible weather we had a fantastic New Year Break. The accommodation was in an excellent location for exploring Kendal and the surrounding area. A modern interior and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals which for us was great for usWe had a small issue on arrival but the excellent host dealt with it promptly and communicated effectively We would recommend this accommodation "

"The property was lovely, and clean. A great location with good amenities. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor which was a bit tricky for us staying with young kids and not mentioned in the information, and the on street parking availability on the street mentioned nearby was really limited, but we travelled on a very busy school holiday weekend. "A beautiful house. Perfect for our annual family Christmas trip. Plenty of room to relax, lots of comfy seating in the cosy living room. The children loved the playroom. "We hired the bunkhouse for two nights of birthday celebrations and walking. Great location with stunning walks right outside the door. Wainwright’s Inn is a few steps away, as is the co-op with its little cafe upstairs. I hope to make our stay an annual event. Highly recommended!"

"Steve was a fabulous host and really went out of his way to make our stay a memorable one.We arrived to the beautiful Orchard View Cottage in horrendous weather and we’re super happy to see how gorgeous Orchard View was. "Big house with great sized rooms and plenty space for our 15 adults and 5 children. Hot tub was great. Living space/bar area very roomy and open. The owners were very flexible with the Sunday checkout times which was nice of them. The kitchen is a professional kitchen (for the weekday BnB purpose I guess) so not quite the social space that you're used to in a more traditional house.
