"A great find in the Lake District. The hotel was easy to find down a quiet street in Windermere. The room was cosy and clean and while compact (as described) it had everything we needed with the complimentary slice of cake each day a welcome bonus. The breakfast was amazing and staff were happy to accommodate any likes / dislikes around food. Definitely would return in the future."

Lovely location for going walking (only about 10min drive from a car park to go up old man coniston) Was super cosy and warm inside the hut, everything you need to prepare food, a tv to watch Netflix etc and bed was decent.
