"Remote location.about 15 mins drive from o Apollo bay ( nearest shops) but a, lovely outlook and cheap as chips .shared facilities were good .great kitchen etc .a tv would have been appreciated in the communal areas.would definitely stay here again next time I'm riding the gor "

"The Otway Nest is located in a rain forest and the drive there was stunning, we arrived and were greeted by a beautiful, modern, and full featured BnB. The heater was on, the home was warm, and small details like having our dogs bowl full of water ready for her arrival was wonderful. A couple of slight disappointments we did have with this stay was a lack of electric car charging (I had no idea I was meant to let them know my car was electric, and there could have been a charge point available if i had) We couldn't sms or call the care taker, we had to email and wait for a reply to get simple questions answered, and when i did try to run an extension cable from a power point to trickle charge my car the power switched off. It was turned back on and they asked me not to charge my car. It was pointed out that Appolo Bay had a charger, so we drove there only to find out it was hidden inside a Motel, and used for customer cars, and both charge points were currently in use. It is quite a drive to get to the stay, and heading to the next destination was stressful, we spent time in the evening trying to plan out where we could charge and how to make it work. Also security cameras were intrusive and not ideal in a private setting, they did not look where we were staying, but even going for a walk in close proximity to our unit we felt watched. We arrived and let our dog sniff around, and was told to pleas stay on our side of the property. Spoiling a possible lovely stay. "

"Delightful accommodation with equally delightful host! Maddie was super helpful and gave us loads of info for things to do in the area. Property and grounds were beautifully maintained and a genuinely lovely to stay at "

"I enjoyed my stay here had beautiful views. The house Was amazing clean,balcony was so beautiful was very clean. The host was very helpful and quick to respond. Was an amazing three day getaway. Would definitely come back here and would definitely recommend staying here."

"This is not worth the cost. It is basically a farm stay surrounded by introduced trees with the faint smell of cow dung and the sound of gun shots. It may be near beautiful native trees of the Otways, but they are not accessible. The property map provided is out of date and access to the waterfalls hasn't been maintained. Be prepared for long arduous walks and rock climbing to access them. We stayed for a week on daily rates but had no top up of supplies. We had to supply our own soap, bin bags, dishwasher tablets, dish cloths, toilet paper, bathroom hand towels and cooking utensils. Some weren't supplied, some ran out quickly (like, within 24 hours). We also had to vacuum up food on arrival and clean the dishwasher of gunk. A QR code is supposed to provide access to a manual for the stay, however, the link wasn't working. We told them and by the last day of our trip, the link still wasn't working - a sign that they did not really care. Dogs were on the property (not sure whose) and they were not on leashes or kept under control. They barked at the cows and at us when we were trying to play outside and tried to take food off our table, so it wasn't really enjoyable to go outside. No aircon inside (it does have heating options). Overall, very disappointing."

"Gulah offered our family the ideal mix of relaxation and recreation, situated in between the mountains and beach. We loved feeding the birds from the balcony, playing boardgames and cooking on the Weber bbq while enjoying views of the ocean on one side and valley on the other. The location was great, only a few mins away from walks in the Otway ranges, beaches and rock pools. We even saw a koala from the kitchen window. The house itself is simply beautiful, relaxing, very clean, well appointed and had everything we needed. Would love to stay again."

"This place is a stylish, cosy little 70s tree house situated in lush rainforest. On Christmas Day, a beautiful king parrot flew onto my partner's shoulder while we were on the balcony. Then, the rosellas and cockatoos came to say hello. The kitchen was perfect for cooking a big Christmas meal, with massive bench space, sharpened knives and good utensils. It was perfect!"

"Was great except are pretty sure the spa filters had not been cleaned. We managed to clean them and dose spa and it was much better. Also some dishwasher tablets would have been useful. "
