"This is one of the best places that I have stayed throughout the many years I have been travelling, the hotel manager Gibson and his assistant Yusif were very welcoming, helpful and ensured we got everything we needed. "I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area. I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely. At night time I had an evening meal which was tasty and they accommodated my dietary requirements very well. I am gluten intolerant. I recommend this hotel if you like quiet and beauty filled...

"Hyggeligt hostel. Ejeren/ reception var ikke bemandet ved ankomst men en ven af ejeren fortalte at denne snart var tilbage. Ved ankomst var der strøm afbrydelse der var strømafbrydelse igen om aften men jeg var i bad. Vandet i toilettet virkede ikke altid hvilket ikke er så fedt når mam deler toilet med andre. Man blev konstant smidt af wifi og skulle logge ind igen. Hvis man ser bort fra dette var personalet meget venligt og hjælpsomme når de var der. "

"If You are looking for an American/European resort this place May disappoint you. When I travel I like authentic local places. This place is totally Africa. Breakfast was modest and great. The food to order from the kitchen was fresh and very reasonably priced. The bring the food to you in front of your bungalow. Security was good. The highlight of my entire trip was swimming with the turtles that you can do for free if you stay here. Very close to beach and local Zoo."

"Three staff is very accommodating, and kind. There's a nice feeling they all know you and are trying to really help. We were there 4 days and it felt like we are a little community. The rooms are comfortable, clean, hot water and good internet connection. The breakfasts are very nice. I recommend to organize all your tours through the hotel, it's easy and very reasonable prices, and you know it's all taken care of. So a lot less stressful. Wonderful resort!

"We stayed here for 5 days and it was so relaxing! The resort is beautifully done with all the amenities: pool, spa, shops, restaurants, entertainment and private beach area with deck chairs for hotel guests. The food was great - We had breakfast included and ate a few time at their Fisherman's Grill restaurant. We saw they also offer half-board or all inclusive with a variety of food choices, if you prefer this option. The room was lovely and spacious - we booked a seaview room and it was directly on the beach. Had all the amenities, good air conditioning, shower and comfortable bed. The staff are excellent and so friendly. Always available to help and made our stay perfect! Would happily stay here again!"

Quiet lil slice of paradise

"Absolutely beautiful property! I stayed in Karibu 3, and perhaps honestly felt like I was spoiling myself. The room has a private patio and was situated in a quiet courtyard with a pool view. Staying at Kendwa Natural Villa gives you access to the beach at Kendwa Rocks - so you can enjoy the area without all the noise from the bigger resort, which was important to me. The food at the restaurant was delicious and fresh. And the staff will treat you like family! If you need a massage, Queen at the spa is a miracle worker! Thank you, Kendwa Natural Villa ❤️ "

"Loved the resort. We stayed in the Beach Junior Suite which was very close to the beach. The room is large and quite with a great bed and shower. The resorts grounds are well kept. The dining area is right on the water with fantastic views and accommodating staff. The food can be better, but that was our experience in all of Tanzania so can't fault this resort for it. "
