"We had a very nice stay at this property. It was very clean, very convenient location to Santander area, Pagonda, Train station , and much more. Amazing Diner right down the road. "This is a very old Victorian style house. It has noisy steam heat; barely working locks (some don't work at all), and sketchy electrical. We booked 2br/2ba, which got us the 2nd and 3rd floors (host lives on the 1st floor). Furnishings are old; kitchens are functional, but that's it. Water pressure was VERY low. The host is an extremely nice guy. He owns a small restaurant nearby that serves really delicious food and AWESOME shakes. The ad says that "off street parking is available". That's...

"Even more beautiful than the pictures. Old Jailhouse is literally across the street. Information from Jeffrey was above and beyond. Many dining suggestions as well as things to do which were all in walking distance. We loved our stay at The Guest House and hope to come back to Jim Thorpe and the Guest House soon!"
