"I had not realized on booking that the second bedroom was in the loft and accessible by a wooden loft ladder. Both my sister and I are retired and neither of us could get the ladder down. We decided not to contact Helen as we wouldn't have been able to go up and down the ladder anyway. It is very steep and doesn't have any handrailsThe property itself is an old style cottage with a good size kitchen which had some groceries to start us off. "A beautiful spacious house, nicer than in the photos. Comfy bed and we appreciated the Christmas decorations. Had a nice wakk past the lake and up the hill in to the woods. "

"Good for family (2 adults, 4 kids). Good location, 30 minute walk or 10-15 minute bus ride to the city centre. Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Overall good, would stay again. "

"When we arrived the check in process was very easy. The cottage itself was very clean and warm. Bed was comfortable and two bathrooms which is great of you stay with a whole family. If you want to use the hot tub make sure to tell the owners immediately once you book. I told them a week before arriving and had had to ask twice to be able to use it. We could see in the guest book other people had been greeted with welcome basket. We didn’t. Would also been great if there were a welcome letter...

"Jamie was there to greet us and he was fantastic he made us feel so welcome.He showed us round and how things worked explained how the hot tub worked. House was stunning the veiws were stunning very peaceful. Jamie kept in touch and was most helpful "

"I stayed in this cottage for 11 nights with my dog, my Mum came to visit for the weekend too. Kate and Cameron we're very welcoming, and went to extra lengths to make my stay enjoyable. A lovely touch was the welcome tray with tea, coffee and delicious shortbread! Not to mention a nice bottle of prosecco.
