Search Farmstay in Kekerengu

"This wonderful cottage in the middle of a vineyard was a perfect location for a holiday. We walked around the vineyard and across to the river, and also down to the beach and Store at Kekerengu for lunch one day. The cottage has everything you need, and the garden is well fenced and dog friendly, and surrounded by chickens, pigs and sheep. Soaking in the outdoor baths star watching was sublime. We are looking forward to our next visit."

"Lovely quirky cottage in a peaceful setting. Well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, which was a bonus. Lovely to be provided with eggs and lemons on arrival. The cottage has obviously been added to in various stages over time, therefore as others have commented, the bathroom setup is unusual with four doors. However, there are now locks on the three doors into the house. The fourth door is to the laundry and this is also where the toilet is. There is an outside door to the laundry, so the toilet can be accessed this way, if someone is in the bathroom (provided the outside door is unlocked!). One bedroom's only internal access is through the bathroom, but it also has an external door. There is no mobile phone signal (Spark), but this is not an issue with the unlimited internet. Unfortunately the weather wasn't very good when we were there (mid summer), but it was lovely to be able to light the fire one morning when it was cold with no sun expected. "

"Truly a special place, you won’t see Kaikōura the way you see it until you stay in this place. We had the most bliss long weekend, the place resonates why we love being full of character, rustic but class! It’s beyond. And our host goes above and beyond, even taught us how to catch cray fish by craypots! You know when they say “best of both worlds” this is it! Bush, mountain, sea, river! It’s in your doorstep! Can’t wait to come back! xx "
