"We were all very impressed with the place, for a huge property it was exceptionally clean everywhere and filled with everything you need. Bigger with some older style rooms, it gave a great feel for hide and seek. It provided a good base for all of us to hang out together whilst giving some space, great for games and a couple walks in the area. We really enjoyed our cold pond dips followed by warming up in the hot tub. This was already warmed up for us on arrival and lots of wood and starters...

"What can I say about the most amazing property to stay at new year. Catered for everything, even had a Xmas tree. Had fizzy wine, butter, biscuits, bread, jams. Even had a tour by the owner to where to sit on New Year’s Eve on the hillside over looking western. Shame it was only 2 days. "

"11 of us / 3 generations descended on Axbridge to celebrate my mother’s 90th. What a super weekend! Culminating in a wonderful dinner in the formal dining room which was spectacular. We like to cook - and the Kitchen is large and well equipped for big parties. A lovely setting in a lovely village / area. The host was charming and very accommodating. "

"Came here for a short stay. The bungalow was clean on arrival and all the necessaties of a home away from home facilities were in place (large fridge/freezer), cooker, TV/Wifi, shower etc and worked as expected. The bungalow was very warm and the heating a little hard to work out how to adjust to get it cooler but with the large patio door it wasn't such a problem. The place does look a little dated with some older styled furntiure but it was all comfy and for the price I have no complaints. ...

"Great outdoor space and Leisure outhouses but issue with gate not working. Swimming pool chemical balance was wrong ( badly stinging eyes ) and water felt cold ( to be fair was dealt with within 48hrs) The one and only tv doesn’t work regardless of instructions. No tv Ariel . Had to stream through a phone via wifi. Cinema room DVD works ok but Netflix not. 4 bedrooms share one shower room. Shower heads need cleaning and one shower bracket to hold it was loose so wouldn’t stay up. One wardrobe...
