Its close enough for an excursion to Berkeley Springs, and we liked the bed! I often find rental mattresses to be too hard and this one was just right."

"It was a cozy little tiny house located right on the river. I came in January and it was about 15 degrees outside so I did not get to use the outdoor shower or grill. I was able to enjoy the view of the river from the tiny house and walk outside on the road (not too many cars). If it was any warmer I would have built a fire and sat outside closer to the river. I would love to come back and stay when it was warmer to enjoy the outdoor more. Perfect retreat to reset. Very close to a nearby college...

"We stayed at the Antietam Toll House on the coldest night in 10 years. Outside temps were 3 degrees Fahrenheit with wind chills less than zero. The cabin provided a cozy respite to a frigid night. It is a charming home in a lovely location next to a stream. Michelle was responsive to our requests. Lots of little details of design that enhanced the stay. We look forward to coming back in summer. "

"We booked this cabin for a small girls weekend and it was perfect! The view is absolutely amazing! The fireplace is cozy, just make sure you bring lots of wood to keep it going! We also enjoyed using the hot tub each night! The house was clean and in order and communication with Mountain Mama’s was great. "

"My husband and I along with our 2 small dogs had a wonderful stay at this lovely mountain retreat. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed to cook breakfast and an easy dinner each evening. The property was beautiful with lots of tall old growth trees that were beautiful with the fall colors and even though it was in a community you felt like you were in a secluded mountain retreat because most of the homes were obsured by the trees; and it is on a dead end road...

"This place was perfect for us. Secluded and quiet area, great history, and great amenities. It’s definitely a historic cabin and may not be suitable for everyone, especially those who are taller than around 5’9”, or those with physical handicaps. For us it was perfect. The managers were great and communicated with us any time we asked questions. Highly recommend. "
