"It has everything one could need - it is just small - nothing deceptive about the online description at all. Quiet with a truly lovely road across the street that I walked down at least three times every day I was there with the dogs - never did see a house - met a nice fellow on a bicycle and two cars, both of which stopped while I leashed the dogs. Owner is wonderful."

"The children enjoyed their time at the cottage. There's enough activities for everyone to do (kayaking, canoeing, pedal boat. They also have firepit where you can roast marshmallows. The property has an ample space to play freebies, badminton, volleyball and basketball. The cottage is a little outdated but it is spacious. Our overall experience was great. Ali was great too..We will go back to this property again.."

"Would have been excellent if the host responded. There was an issue initially with the Vrbo booking as it would not allow the booking to save as I am a new Vrbo client. It was challenging to find the address of the place and as I had a work trip to the area it would have been kind of them to follow up. The cabin was lovely. The father of the owner was also very pleasant and the location was perfect. Thank you."

"This guest house was everything and more than we expected. The accommodations were spotless and had extras like a pancake bar and popcorn with flavour shakers. Excellent coffee was supplied as well. Kerri, our host was available to answer any questions that arose. The area was lovely with scenic views out every window. We highly recommend this little haven in the woods to anyone that needs a quiet getaway. "

"This is an absolutely beautiful two-story cottage with everything you need for a short or long-term stay. Nestled into the woods but close to the area's attractions, trails and the town of Haliburton - it's a peaceful break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cottage itself is tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds, a full kitchen with all the necessary utensils, a washer and dryer, barbeque and beautiful views into the forest. All in all, I would highly recommend and hope to return...

"Such an amazing week. Thanks to Tanya, our attentive and helpful host, my two kids (and our lab!) and I enjoyed our time. The cottage is well appointed, clean, pet friendly, with rooms accommodate everyone and a gorgeous outdoor space. "The house is huge - the furniture is quite shabby - couches on blocks of wood. Beds are falling apart. Only sheets provided not a single blanket in the house and only a couple of towels. The outdoor area was completely overgrown and the firepit had no usable area to sit around it. The decks were huge. There was no bbq that was usable and the canoe was full of holes. The upstairs is very odd with a railing around a hole in the middle. Pretty much a waste of space. The railings should be...
