"Everything at this place was absolutely wonderful. The location was right beside the ski hill. The dinners and breakfast were incredible. The staff was very kind, the rooms were immaculate, and the choice of two Onsens - one outside and one inside was wonderful. Very quiet town - wonderfully relaxing vibe. Thank you so much!"

"My boyfriend and I had an incredible stay at this ryokan in January of 2025. The property was very beautiful and well maintained! The onsen were excellent as well, once you got the hang of onsen etiquette. The ryokan is also situated near the base of Zao ski resort so you can walk over there for a day of skiing followed by a nice warm soak in the onsen! Additionally the breakfast and dinner experiences were incredible, everything was delicious and my boyfriend's food allergies were taken into account, and there was always an alternative for him (i.e., shrimp was replaced with fish). Can't recommend staying here enough, it was an incredible experience. "

"Great ryokan near the main road of zao. Excellant staff, friendly service with awesome private and public onsens. Big family room was perfect to section off our teenager. Only issue was limited self catering options if you dont take the pricey breakfast/dinner option, single small lawsons in town"
