"All I want to say is that the pictures on VRBO are beautiful, but they don’t do this property justice! We loved every inch of Moonlight Villas & hated to leave. The location is ideal in which you can walk to the grocery store, pharmacy, bakeries and restaurants. The beautiful Lybian sea is right in front of the villa. Snorkeling was fantastic! Dora, the owner, and the property manager, Poppie, were very accommodating and hospitable. I highly recommend this property!!!"

"The house is very nice and we had a very good time there, even as a relatively large group. The communication with the agency was very good, friendly and reliable. The main drawback is the quite remote location. With small kids, you have to take the car to go anywhere."

"We loved Grapevines, the villas are spacious, well managed and the pool and gardens beautifully kept and never busy. The beach is an easy walk and is sandy. Makrygialos itself is a delightful town, with many beachfront tavernas. There is even a Minoan settlement and Roman villa in the vicinity (the children weren't impressed by I thought both worth a quick visit and they're permanently open). The area is beautiful with beaches dotted along the coastline and beautiful mountains."

"Fantastic view with beautiful sunrise. The house has everything promised in the ad. The house is not gigantic but has all the necessities needed to have a nice holiday. For 1 to 4 people, the house is comfortable and definitely worth recommending."

"A perfect base for our two week holiday. Clean and well-equipped. The insect nets are very effective. There is room for a car under the covered area while leaving plenty of space for dining. A lovely view of the mountains to wake up to. The location is very quiet and private."
