"Je n'ai pas séjourné au Kizimkazi lodge ,lorsque je suis arrivé il n'était pas encore prêt pour l'ouverture alors on m'a attribué une chambre dans le resort juste devant,même propriétaire, pas la même gamme ! j'étais gagnante la manager m'a promis de trouver une solution au problème je n'ai pas été déçu.Donc mon jugement est un peu biaisé mais je n'ai aucun doute sur la qualité des prestations à venir ,merci Sharlène!!!"

"What a luxury to step out of our room onto a soft, white sand beach. Between our room, the water and neighbouring restaurants, we never needed to leave the beach! The rooms are simple, but clean and the bed was comfortable. The bungalows are lovely with a laid-back vibe, a beautiful garden and lots of shade trees. "The hotel was good choice as we had renter car and could go everywhere on the island. It was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The ocean was not the best beach in zanzibar but this is not the hotels fault. "

"Hotel was closed for renovations and they didn’t inform us before we arrived. We had to look for an alternative place to stay at night and Expedia was not helpful either with finding another hotel. I would never recommend this place because of the lack of communication and inconvenience caused! "

"Nice if you like solitude and being in nature, and don't mind "rustic". Big open air villas surrounded by trees (even a few baobabs), which are frequent by monkeys (including red colobus). Not so nice if you are used to excellence and attention to detail in everything. Resort is in need of TLC at a minimum or renovation at a maximum to make it worth the price. All of the cushions are either worn out or torn with the cotton pocking out or zippers not closing... I would not recommend booking any...

"For our whole trip this was the best stay. It is peaceful and restful with a quiet beach and loveliest water to swim and snorkel in. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming. They will arrange all tours and transport for a better price should you want to. Our room was clean and made up everyday and the chef Jay always surprised us with the most delicious food. I would highly recommend this place for an amazing Zanzibar experience! "
