From a lovely cooked meal for our arrival as we were late to the package of local goodies and home made cake and also booking recommended restaurant, nothing was too much trouble. "I’ve just returned from an amazing stay at Villa Emma. The property is spacious and well furnished with a really nice pool. I would really recommend having a car while you are there. The “walkable” beach is a pebble beach and not that great for swimming. Episkopi beach is much nicer but is a drive away. The village of Gerani which is walkable is vibrant with nice restaurants, bars, coffee shops and a bakery plus a couple of supermarkets which were well stocked. Rethymno town which is fully of...

Directions to the property were easy as were the instructions to let ourselves in. The villa itself is amazing and the photos do not do it justice.
