"The staff were nice. Location was good and within walking distance to the street market, restaraunts, beach and tour pickups. Lots of options for the in house buffets and we had some fun entertainment each night. Small issue with showers slow to drain. Bigger issue was the beds, like sleeping on a park bench and had to use the extra comforters to provide a bit of cushion. That said, my mom loved her bed."

"Honestly really shocked at these reviews! This hotel is totally worth the amount you are paying. Got locked out of the hotel and they were quick to answer a very late night phone call to help us out. While it does get pretty warm in the rooms, I have had troubles with this in every place I’ve stayed as it is so hot right now. "A gem of an hotel conveniently situated within all of the attractions of old town Alcudia. Spotlessly clean, fantastic breakfasts, attentive but unobtrusive hosts. We had the room with private plunge pool which was a fabulous feature much enjoyed. Highly recommended!"

The room was lovely, the breakfasts were great, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations of things to do and where to eat in the evenings. "We loved this hotel. We feel lucky we found this hotel in the walled part of Alcùdia. We are cyclists and not interested in staying along the beach. The staff was very accommodating in providing bike storage and anyone we talked to were extremely nice and welcoming. Our room was comfortable and quiet."

"Location is fantastic for a family stay. It is a great point to explore Mallorca. The staff was very helpful and addressed every issues we had. We bought like 12 kg of oranges and were looking for a juicer, another evening surprisingly there was one in the kitchen :) Thank you for a great service, we will definitely recommend it to our family and friends. As someone reccomended, it is a good idea to bring your Nespresso café capsuls, we enjoyed everyday café."

" Very relaxing stay with good breakfast. Outside space was very pleasant with the pool being a highlight. No tea/ coffee facilities in room & water had to be paid for. Dinner was reasonably price but was of average quality. All said we enjoyed our stay & the staff were great"

"The hotel is perfectly positioned. Literally a walk across the road to the beach. Breakfast was fantastic. We ate there twice in the evening; which again was truly great. Enjoyed the pasta & tapas menu. Loved the free access to coffee and tea all day. Environmentally friendly with option to fill up water bottles etc. Although the rooms are on the small side. "The hotel was friendly and clean, the staff were helpful. The room was well aid out and spacious this particular room did not have a proper shower tray with a door or a towel rail which would have been better. The balcony view of this room was to the rear of the hotel no pleasant gardens or anything just views out over residential properties and the car park which can be a little noisy at times with cars and dogs barking etc. "

"We loved our stay at Vell Marí and would definitely go back again. It’s an easy drive from the airport. We didn’t bother paying extra for dedicated parking and we never had trouble getting parked on the streets outside the hotel. It’s right opposite Lidl which is handy if you don’t want to take toiletries in your suitcase. The staff were lovely and the food was good and varied every day although there were also consistent options like pizza and pasta so always something for my picky eater 7 year old. The hotel was clean and quiet. Rooms are soundproof so although we could just about hear the entertainment in the evenings it wasn’t loud enough that it kept my son awake and it also didn’t go on too late. Only negatives are that I would have liked a kettle in our room as I like a coffee when I wake up. We had a microwave so I would microwave water for coffee but a kettle would have been nice. Also the air con didn’t get super cold. It was noticeable during the day but at night it felt like it wasn’t really doing much so even though we had it on the coldest setting that still felt like maybe 22-23oC which is warmer than we are used to sleeping in at night. But really those negatives are so minor, it really is a super little hotel and I have recommended it to anyone who asked me about our holiday. Thank you Vell Marí :)"

"This was a perfect property for my boyfriend and I. We were able to enjoy the beach (30 second walk) with everything in walking distance including Aldi for groceries and many restaurants and mini supermarkets and gift shops on the surrounding streets. The staff were very lovely and often put out the leftover pastries from breakfast to share! Would definitely stay again and couldn’t recommend more if you just want a small, convenient and affordable getaway! "

"This hotel exceeded expectations. The view from the rooftop and plunge pool was insane. Usually sleeping on a pull out sofa bed isnt as comfy as the main bed but this was not the case here. The same mattress was used that was on the main bed so very comfy. The facilities in the room were an excellent addition without paying extra. A mini fridge and coffee machine with pods, beach towels aswell as showering towels. The hotel was very clean and modern. Carmen, the receptionist throughout our stay was very approachable, cheery and a smiley face to welcome us on arrival. On departure she went above and beyond to help us when our private transfer let us down with pick up time. (Transport company not linked to hotel). Due to us nearly missing our flight she contacted the company on our behalf and then carried on sorting a private taxi instead so that we got to the airport in time. Even although the sky bar is open to the public, at all times the hotel was very quiet with not much noise. We were in room 101 and would definitely stay again. "
