"We always wanted to visit the Caddo Lake area, but really didn't know what to expect. This getaway on the bayou was a very pleasant surprise for us and had beautiful scenery! It was also a bonus to meet Coach, who was a great host and right across the road in case we needed anything! "

Overall it’s my first choice for several reasons.Last week I literally had to wait until the attendant finished cleaning the breakfast area before she checked me out. She was well aware that I was waiting be a she acknowledged me. I actually had to go to the area were she was and asked to be checked out. This stay there wasn’t any coffee in the room other than a pod I found in the bathroom. Along with a bottle of something underneath the sink. The water doesn’t get very hot. However, I will continue to stay at the property "

"Everything went perfectly. Property was clean and as advertised. Quick drive to Caddo Lake State Park and other points along the lake. It’s a pretty remote area, so it’s a bit of a drive to stores and restaurants though I did frequent a bait shop that doubles as a cafe along highway 43. 3F is the name, I believe. Details on local treasures available in the notebook in the cabin. Highly recommend this property. "
