Really enjoyed our stay, so many beautiful beaches nearby to visit and swim at. Only bummer was no wifi or fans!! Was really hot at night.

We loved staying at Patia Point. The view is better than the pictures. The bach is clean and super comfortable. The whole family loved it. We actually relaxed. Great communication with our host James. We are keen to come back.

Had a lovely time at the Bach. The Bach is basic but has everything you need and is spacious. Beds were very comfortable as well which is always a bonus. And the view... absolutely incredible!! You honestly cannot beat it! Thank you for having us 😁

What a View
Our family had a wonderful time staying at Patia Point Bach. The Bach has everything you need and a view you'll always remember. Maitai Bay and Karikari beach close by, are amazing. Just bring mozzie repellant and close up the house at night as this area has lots of mozzies! Would love to return one day.

Beautiful spot
Beautiful spot, we enjoyed our stay. No complaints. We had two kids in the bedroom, our twins on the fold out futon in the lounge and us in the main room. If you are staying you'll need to bring everything in terms of cooking condiments, oil, spray, tomato sauce, glad wrap, foil etc as there is nothing in the pantry, and no cleaning products available in terms of spray and wipe. Thank you for the use of your beautiful property.

True Kiwi batch with amazing view
A true basic Kiwi batch. Amazing view made up for anything missing. Unable to walk to the beach. Limited cooking dishes for catering for a family of five. Pull out couch odd for seating but ok with cushions on the floor for sleeping - this is not 3 bedrooms.

Clean little Bach with all you need to make your stay comfy. The view is priceless! Great base for exploring, amazing beaches nearby and within a reasonable drive. Take away close by that serves great fish. Place was clean enough, hooray for a glass shower and not the dreaded shower curtain. Water was nice and hot. Fridge is nice and big. BBQ was good with a view to die for when cooking on it. Beds were a bit uncomfortable and we ended up sleeping on the mattresses from the sleeper couch. This is a 2 bed place not 3 however we made it work. This is a great place to stay, James was easy to deal with and we are grateful to have shared this special place. Will be back.

GREAT LOCATION - could be better serviced
This is a beautifully located basic bach in an outstanding part of New Zealand. Outstanding views are what sells this place. You can see all of Doubtful Bay. However, the bach itself could use a bit of a spruce up. The shower is a dribble of water that alternated between freezing cold and burning hot. The beds are old and beaten into submission. The couches no longer comfortable, and we find ourselves with aching backs. The television was dubious and took awhile to sort out. Everything just needs a little more attention. However, the Host is lovely and communication very good - we were delighted to find extra blankets provided after I expressed concern over adequate heating. Again, the location and view make this getaway memorable.

Happy Northland Getaway!
Our family had the pleasure of staying at Patia Point View for three nights, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The views are absolutely breathtaking—pictures just can’t capture the stunning scenery. Waking up to that incredible landscape each morning was a highlight of our trip. The living space was very comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a day full of adventures. We especially enjoyed the nostalgia of watching some classic DVDs in the evenings; it added a cozy touch to our stay. One small area for improvement would be the water pressure and heat control in the shower - we couldn't quite figure it out. Overall, our experience was wonderful, and we would love to come back! Thank you for making our family getaway so special!
