"The Unit we stayed in was very nice and clean. But the bathroom was in desperate need of attention. The shower was terrible - impossible to stand under to get wet! I know bathrooms are very expensive to replace and that times are tough at present, but this bathroom needs to be replaced. Otherwise everything was A1."

"The highlight for us was location. We were positioned at the start of the Art Deco walk and right in front of the beach promenade. The hotel was historic with authentic Art Deco styling. Service was excellent. The only negative was that parking was not onsite, but we recognize that there is nothing they can do about it."

"Pebble Beach is a great option for Napier. We had a huge room on an upper floor with a balcony and an unobstructed view of the water. The location is terrific, about a 15 minute walk along the beautiful Marine Parade to downtown's cafes and restaurants. We especially loved Roam Cafe which is also on Marine Parade on the way into town. There was a small kitchenette with supplies for our morning tea and coffee. There was also a stereo and DVD player, useful for rainy days. The AC worked well....
