"Planning a family get together and needed to be close to Lindsborg- Marquette and The Preston House were perfect. Short, 10 minute drive to Lindsborg. While the town is a little quiet in the beginning of the week, the kids enjoyed a visit to the Motorcycle museum, the grandparents enjoyed nights of cards and visits around the huge dining room table and the adults enjoyed a special evening at the Smoky Valley Distillery, right on Main Street in front of the house. House was beautiful with its historic features, antique touches and modern amenities like updated bathrooms, kitchen and AC, thank goodness. It’s a great place for families to gather as long as you have guests that can climb stairs (only one bedroom downstairs. Beds were very comfortable and place was very clean. Host was very responsive and hospitable."
