"LiveMax hotel on Miyajima was a the perfect place for an overnight trip. Perfectly situated close to the ferry station and walkable to all the sights on the island. They rent bicycles if needed. The dinner buffet was insane (mad rush to the sushi and beef for yakitori at the table) but it was a unique experience to say the least. Delicious food provided. We had excellent customer service during the check in and check out process. You are assigned a locker for outdoor shoes upon arrival and have to wear the provided leather slippers while on site. The room was extremely spacious (for Japan standards) and the 2 waters provided were appreciated. "
