"Incredibly relaxing stay! Bed was very comfortable (great for my bad back) fireplace in the Lounge Room with lovely outdoor bath was fantastic. I simply loved having a sauna inside the bathroom. When we arrived, we saw our little welcome pack with breakfast provisions for the first day and feed so we could feed the cows, goats and alpacas on the property. "

"I chose The Briar for my wedding, spending the night before alone. It was precisely what I needed—peace and quiet, giving me time to relax before the big day. The property itself is beautiful quality and decor. The bed is soooooo comfy. I love the outdoor bath and seating area with the firepit. "We had a wonderful relaxing stay. Prasad and his lovely wife were very accommodating making sure we had everything we needed and going out of their way in setting up the deck area with enough tables and chairs for our families Easter luncheon. We found our bed comfortable and there was plenty of water pressure with the shower. Our dog enjoyed her stay too, exploring the paths through the woodland."

"Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult."

"Had a great stay! Bed very comfortable. Everything there that we needed! Close to shops and restaurants. Lovely spot! Room ticked all the boxes except there was something going on with wet area on carpet in front to bathroom door. Initially thought it was from bathroom but after 2 days realised there must be a pipe broken under the floor! Apart from that everything was prefect "
